I might get an agent.......

You probably thought that the title of this post meant I was getting a LITERARY agent, but hate to break it to you but I was talking about an acting agent. My love of writing just seems to dissolved since I stopped writing the Fantasogra book. Now I've started to love acting, and singing. Tonight is the final performance of my MTW camp. I play Shen-Shen from Wicked(Galinda's friend), and Jan from Grease. I can't wait to finally perform! Wish me luck!

I'm taking a break from Writing and trying something new

I just don't know what is wrong with me but I've been kinda losing my love of writing. Suprisingly I've kinda looking forward to getting a new hobby. Though my new hobby I've been thinking of getting interested in is probably acting and modeling. You see I got a makeover today and I totally feel confident about my looks(which I usually didn't feel so happy about). I don't know whether I will actually get more interested in acting and modeling or if I will go right back to writing. For now I am just taking a break from writing and I don't know if I will ever go back to it for a while.
Have a great summer!

No Talking Cake remake will be made soon

*sigh* it's true. I thought about the remake all last night and I realized that I just can't remake it in a succesfull way. As you guys probably read in my last post the remake would have been definitly darker then the original. My main reasons why I am not making a remake is simply that I don't feel that I could correctly portay the darkness of the book, and the fact that most of my family adore the original for many reasons.
I feared that if I redid the Talking Cake my family would feel like I totally ruined the child-friendly nature of the book and turned it into a darker book.
I think the phrase to describe turning a cheesy thing into a mature thing is called Batmaning it. You know in the original batman tv series batman was a real cheesy character(weird catchphrases, bright costumes, and cheesy fights). Then Christopher Nolan turned the character into the darker person. It kinda constrasts to turning the Talking Cake from a cheesy book into a more darker book. Now I know that whole batman reference doesn't make sense to you guys at all, but it was the closest thing I got to changing a cheesy thing into a dark thing.

In other news: I feel like I might be losing my love for writing. I'm just never in the mood to write anymore. Well I'm going to pool today and possibly I can get some ideas for new books, or I could even write a play or something.
Have a great summer!

Am I capable of writing the Talking Cake remake?

I've thought about it lately and I fear that because the changes I made to the book will be too mature and dark for me. Here are some hints to what I mean by dark changes:
1. In the new beginning, Carlisa and Will are said to had an affair. In Nohavia it is illegal to date a witch. When Trevor(Will's 12 year old brother at the time) sees the two together Carlisa attempts to get rid of him. Sure it sounds not that dark. Right? Did I mention that Will kinda set Carlisa up to attempting to kill Trevor and eventually killing Will's sister Hannah. Will somehow finds out about Carlisa's plan to kill Trevor but unfortunately sees Carlisa "kill" Trevor. In a panic Will escapes with Carlisa. Hannah finds Trevor, barely alive, and the two escape. After Hannah gets Trevor out of the city, she is killed by Carlisa.
Now Will believes that Trevor is dead and doesn't learn that he is alive till the end of the book. Claire keeps Trevor's survival a secret from Will because Trevor still hasn't forgiven Will for abandoning him.
My only worry about writing it is that this idea is soo mature and dark that I wouldn't be good writing it(description wise). If you guys have any tips on writing this book, please tell me. Have a great summer!

I'm seriously considering remaking the Talking Cake

This might be suprising to some of you, but I have seriously considered remaking the Talking Cake. I plan to give the Talking Cake a more mature and darker look to it. I've already gotten a couple ideas down and I definitly can tell that it really is darker than the original.
Well I'll keep you all updated on whether or I will ever remake the Talking Cake. Have a great summer!

The Fantasogra book is officially abandoned

I know this might be a shocker but I just can't continue the Fantasogra book. Everytime I think about it I just feel soo ashamed. The Fantasogra book definitly will not be finished any time soon. I hope you can all understand and agree with my decision. My book was just not described well, too short, and too predictable.
I am still waiting for that book that I can feel proud about even after I finish it. A book where I don't feel ashamed of after I finish it. Have a great summer!

My dream of publishing at a teen age will be delayed for a LOOOONG time

Yes it is true, I realized that my writing is too amateur to actually be published. I plan to get published when I write a book that has a more mature form of writing and a story that is not laughable(when it is not intended). My writing will probably be good after college or something. My decision to have the Fantasogra book not published was hard. My top three reasons for not publishing the Fantasogra book is:
1. I don't go into deep description of the story. Though when your writing a childrens book you don't have to go into too much description. But you also have to be creative in your describing too.
2. The characters are too common and too sterotypical
3. It is too fast paced and predictable
You might have all noticed that I was pretty enthusiastic about this book but my love for my books usually end after a couple weeks. Have a great summer!
